Led by Lama Lekshe and George Draffan
March 29 from 10 AM to 2 PM
Online by Zoom and in-person at the Vicarage in Portland Oregon
Chenrezi is the embodiment of the compassion of all the buddhas. This practice is an excellent introduction to ‘Yidam’ practice in the Tibetan tradition. This brief and inspiring practice will connect you to your own natural wisdom and compassion, leading you to let go of the confused and limiting identity of your small-self and connecting you to your innate, enlightened nature.
The practice of Chenrezi is probably the most widely practiced meditation of the Vajrayana tradition. Among all tantric practices, there are none so accessible yet so profound.
There are no prerequisites for this class. This session will enable you to participate in Dekeling’s regular online (and eventually, face-to-face) Chenrezig practice. The practice is about 30 minutes long with chanting, visualization and mantra. Everyone welcome.
Limited seats available at the Vicarage–available as first-registered, first assigned seats. Later registrants can participate by Zoom.
Tuition includes the text.
Optional ‘bring your own lunch’ gathering for those in person.
