The practice of the Buddha-Dharma is meant to carry us through our daily lives with equanimity, compassion, and wisdom. Times of change, whether personal and societal, are especially important to balance and integrate and bring onto the Dharma path.

Even holidays can be stressful. We may be visiting family and old friends — a joy, and perhaps also a challenge. We may be traveling and encountering crowds and circumstances beyond our control. We may find it impossible to maintain a routine of exercise and meditation. Even the weather is conducive to fatigue and viruses. Seasonal stresses are also a time to boost our immune systems and balance our energy.

The aim of this two-evening class is designed to:

  • Teach you several reliable methods for grounding body and mind and reducing stress. 
  • Stay balanced and centered in your best intentions. 
  • Explore opportunities for behavior that you may wish to observe in difficult situations.

Join George Draffan by Zoom on November 21 and December 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Pacific time. 


As always, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you would like to join the group, but are unable to pay the “Supported” price, please contact Shokan (info@dekeling.community)
