Four evening teachings and practice led by George Draffan
June 26, July 10, July 24, and August 7 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
The classic path of Buddhist meditation is founded upon the cultivation of calm abiding (shamatha or shinay) and clear seeing (vipashyana or lhatong): the capacity to be present in experience and to directly understand its nature.
This four-class series will combine study, reflection, and meditation practice with homework and carrying practices.
Meets from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on June 26, July 10, July 24, and August 7.
Open to all. Those who are in the Buddhist Practitioners Program do NOT need to register for these classes; they are included in the BPP.
